High Range Chlorine dioxide test strips

Chlorine dioxide is a water-soluble, yellow-green gas with a characteristic odor. Disinfectants based on chlorine dioxide have antimicrobial activity against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria (including Mycobacterium tuberculosis), viruses, as well as fungi of the genus Candida and dermatophytes.

The “Chlorine Dioxide” test strips, manufactured by Delta CT LLC, are intended for the semi-quantitative determination of the concentration of working solutions of disinfectants based on chlorine dioxide.

Range: 0.005 / 0.01 / 0.03 / 0.05 / 0.1 / 0.2 wt % ClO2

Supply terms: products are manufactured to order. Orders are accepted starting from 25 packs.

Description

Instructions for use of “Chlorine dioxide” test strips for rapid monitoring of the concentration of working solutions of chlorine dioxide-based disinfectants

1. Purpose

The “Chlorine dioxide” test strips (hereinafter referred to as test strips) are intended for visual monitoring of the preparation and proper storage of working solutions of chlorine dioxide-based disinfectants with concentrations of 0.005; 0.01; 0.02; 0.03; 0.05; 0.1; 0.2; 0.3 wt % ClO2.
The delivery set includes: test strips, color scale, instructions for use, packaging bag.
The test strips are intended for use by personnel responsible for carrying out disinfection measures.

2. Application

Pour 50–100 mL of a well-mixed working solution of the disinfectant at room temperature into a graduated cylinder or a glass beaker. Take a test strip from the package and immerse it for 1 second in the solution so that the indicator zone is completely wetted. Remove the strip from the solution and quickly remove the excess liquid by drawing the edge of the strip along the rim of the glass. Place the strip on white filter paper or a paper napkin with the indicator zone facing up and hold for 30 seconds, after which, within 10 seconds, compare the color of the indicator zone with the color scale to determine the concentration of the working solution.

Notes:

1. The specified exposure time of the test strips in the analyzed solution and on the filter paper must be observed.
2. Comparison of the color of the test strip with the color scale should be carried out under normal workplace lighting conditions. The appearance of halos on the test strips that are not shown on the color scale should be considered insignificant.
3. The determination of the concentration of the working solution should be performed three times. The result is considered reliable if it is the same in at least two repeated determinations. If the analysis needs to be repeated, use a fresh portion of the solution.

Caution:

– Vapors of chemicals may affect the determination results; therefore, avoid chemical vapors during storage and use of the test strips;
– Remove from the pack only the number of test strips needed for the determination; do not leave the pack open;
– Do not remove excess solution from the test strips with filter paper;
– Use the enclosed color scale only for this package of test strips;
– Do not expose the color scale to direct sunlight or disinfectants;
– Do not use any portion of the solution used for concentration testing for disinfection purposes.

3. Safety requirements

The test strips do not release toxic substances into the environment and do not have a harmful effect on the human body upon direct contact. No special safety or environmental protection measures are required when working with the test strips. After use, the test strips are to be disposed of as household waste.

4. Storage and transportation

The test strips are stored and transported in the manufacturer’s packaging at temperatures from -15°C to +30°C and humidity not exceeding 80%, without exposure to chemical vapors. Shelf life in the unopened manufacturer’s packaging is 18 months. The shelf life of the test strips after the initial opening of the package is 3 months.

ELECTRONIC DATABASE OF QUALITY CERTIFICATES FOR PRODUCTS

To obtain a quality certificate in electronic form, you must enter the six-digit batch number in the search field and click the "Search" button.

If the batch number is entered correctly, after clicking the "Search" button, a file (.pdf) with the quality certificate for the product will open. A single click of the right mouse button brings up a menu from which you can print the quality certificate.

If the batch number is entered incorrectly, the system displays error 404 "The page you requested was not found".

The Quality certificate for the product is one of the technological documents. The Technical Control Department of Delta CT LLC issues quality certificates for each batch of manufactured products based on the results of the company's internal laboratory tests.

The quality certificate includes the following information: the name of the manufacturing company, the name of the product, the company standard according to which the product is manufactured, the batch number, the date of product testing corresponding to the date of batch release, the names of the indicators that were subject to control (for each indicator, the regulatory requirements and the corresponding actual values are specified). Quality certificates are not numbered. Quality certificates are tracked by the batch numbers of the released products.
